Attention all NFA, SBR and AR Pistol people: There is a piece of new proposed firearms legislation that I think we can all support. How's that for unusual?

HR 5289, The Home Defense and Competitive Shooting Act, introduced by U.S. Representative Roger Marshall (R-KS) would take most SBRs out of the category. No stamp, no waiting period, no "May I please cross a state line.", no more 10-year felony/$250,000.00 fine over 1/2 inch of barrel length. Oh, yes; It supersedes State restrictions too.

Please look this up for yourselves and contact your U.S. Representative if you agree.

This may not have a chance, but we have nothing to lose by showing some support.

Would like to hope for a positive outcome but am reminded of the safe hearing act (or whatever it was called) concerning suppressor from several years ago that was on the edge until it wasn't. IMHO both should be passed.
