Even though I dropped a round do too me letting the trigger off before I was set I think this 5 shot group with the cz and my 123 eld-m handloads will do.

Yep not bad for my first attempt at a paper group at that range. Shoot steel at that range and more all the time. Just figured since I was working out on the 100 yard mark's trueing up my drop data, I would give it a go.

Mirage was horrible, if I ever try this again. I will wait for a cloudy day are do it just after first light before the mirage gets going to bad.

You should be proud! I prefer shooting in the early morning...before mirage becomes a problem. And I shot at ranges a lot less than 900 yards.

Can you tell us what altitude you're shooting at ? (is it OK to ask?)

About the average size of the 3-shot groups i was shooting from my cz proof carbon and hornady black at 500 yards yesterday lol. One group was about half moa at 2.75" verticle and 1" wide, then a couple 3 3/4" - 4 1/4" triangular groups, quartering towards wind had impacts about 7" right of poa. That's incredible shooting and gear obviously on point! Last week at closer to 550 yards, same thing, around 4". Shooting closer to 1 moa is typical for me with known tack drivers, my flashes of brilliance come once in awhile with the half moa groups.
