338 Howa ! OR WHATEVER

Seen a Howa mini for sale but was in 450 BUSHMASTER as some said its off the 284 win. Case (witch uses a .473 standard face bolt) witch is made some fine wildcats

I was looking though so old post of people’s gun builds an seen were some had necked up the 6.5 Grendel to 338 Grendel in there howa’s an gave their experience in hunting with it pro n cons some said Grendel case didn’t produce enough velocity for that heavy a bullet to have reliable expansion (That make since for sure) some would say different

Still kicking in the back of my head - 338 - Grendel (I donnnn’t know why) It’s almost 2 in the morning !!! good grief

I was like put them to together in the howa mini why couldn’t you take 450 Case an neck it down to 338 have a reamer made Send it to have a pre fit barrel made.
Buy a Howa mini 450 re-barrel it with new barrel to ——338 HOWA——That’s what I call it. Would have .473 stand face On A MINI BOLT
an have plenty enough velocity for expansion with the 338 gameking bullet on deer-bear-elk

Man that would be nice with “one of them there” 18 oz Stocks an their Monster floorplate and 19” ultra lite barrels it would feel like a feather and hit like a Mack truck

Any feedback is welcome Pro’s —Con’s I can handle it as I’m no reloader I have a buddy that reloads some but just started to reload

No offense please but this thread has nothing to do with the Grendel.

I just went through a dust up over someone talking about a .223 load and had to ban a user for a month so let me ask the guys here to contact you back channel if they are interested in your idea.

Sorry but this is about the Grendel, not a .450 Bushmaster necked down to .338 .
