Hi Everybody,
I've been shooting and reloading 6.5 CM for a while. Got interested in the Grendel because the case is almost identical to the 6 mm PPC. If you didn't know, the PPC is an accuracy wonder at 100-300 yards. It is a shame that there are only three Grendel bolt factory guns. I bought a lightly used Howa 1500 in a Boyd AT One stock. Hoping to see Lapua brass and 108 grain Scenar bullets come back soon so I can start reloading for my new Grendel!

Welcome to the Horde. Bee careful with the Grendel they seem to have a way of multiplying.
I have an AR in Grendel and loved the little cartridge but there were no bolt actions at the time and I like bolt guns so took a CZ527 in 7.62X39, replaced the barrel with a Obermeyer barrel chambered in 6.5 Grendel. That one weighs 7.2 lbs with scope, full mag and sling and shoots half MOA or better with my handloads. Fun little gun. I was looking for an accurate light weight low recoil hunting rifle and have it.

Welcome to the forum cceckhoff58! I saw where Savage is going to produce a rifle in 6 ARC so that another easy barrel swap. Im so heavily invested in the 6.5 Grendel I havent gotten a 6 ARC. The 6.5 Grendel is such a versatile cartridge it does most everything I want out of a rifle cartridge. Pictures and range reports are always welcome on this forum. Keep a check on Graf & Sons as they seem to get Lapua products frequently.
