Silencers for All USMC Guns?

The direction the military is going will be to a pinned suppressor with barrels as short as 11.5 inches with the suppressor partly contained within the forward handguard. All AR platforms will be 16 inch barrels or shorter.

If they issue suppressors in such a large deployment, why not switch the barrels out with integrally suppressed barrels?
