We only had 70 ghouls show up at our house this year. Funny, 32° F outside- majority of kids were 5-8 yr old gals. Future cold weather soldiers.

We had about 30 trick or treaters. I sat on the front porch with my welding helmet on and a machete in a sheath.

I played scary music through the bluetooth speakers out front.

Several little ones would not approach so I removed my helmet and approached them with out stretched candy to reassure them I was not some crazy Grendel.

I had a 11-12 year old boy show up in a 2ft. thick inflatable T Rex -6ft. long x 6' tall costume- sweating like a race horse. You happy kid? No, I hate my mom now! HaaaHaaaaaaa! He recommended it for sitting in a ground blind for cold weather hunting.

I'll be in a blind this Sat. am in 20°F temps, Maybe I'll look into the costume... It was camo colored heeeee heeee!

I felt bad for the kid- we gave him extra candy- jeeze, some helicopter parents go too far over the top... he registered .00000001 mph, trying to waddle down the street. Comedy is all around, just have to notice it-hee!

I bet it popped and sent him flying in the air onto a grassy spot. Maybe a knoll,,,near his mom's house---

Zero tricker treaters here, for 6th year in a row. When i was growing up country people went to country houses. I think everyone drives to a nice neighborhoods near town now.
