Good to know. What is difference between the existing bottom metal and the new version for the Timney Trigger? Is this simply a change in size of hole for trigger blade to pass through?

Yes, I believe the slot had to be elongated about 1/4" to account for the difference of curvature.

Do the Howa mini specific Timney triggers work with the factory plastic trigger guard?

If this is the only difference then it should be easy for anyone who has original version of Oregunsmithing's bottom metal to modify it to fit a Timney trigger.

If this is the only difference then it should be easy for anyone who has original version of Oregunsmithing's bottom metal to modify it to fit a Timney trigger.

I personally know a small ignition file or a round chainsaw file with work. Just be carefull not to scratch the inside of the trigger guard.

Per Wayne York: They're very close and require a small amount of relief cuts in the window for the trigger and the underside.

Wayne expects his shipment of Timney triggers to arrive any day now. He will look at his costs to determine whether he'll be able to provide a package deal that is cheaper than buying his bottom metal and a Timney trigger separately. He did mention the triggers are curved not straight.
