Alright, it took a while, but I finally got everything done.
1. The Timney 609 trigger fits the mini and short action. I do not have a long action to test.
2. It fits inside the short-action metal the HOWA provides with the 6mm Creed barreled-action I got from Brownell
3. It is only a two-stage trigger (and confirmed by Timney tech staff) so no bolt locking in third position (see pic)
4.The 609 fits the Mini action just fine, but:
a. I do not have the plastic that came with the barreled-action from Brownell, so no idea if it fits there
b. I got the DIP bottom metal for my Mini 6.5 G that got accurized and re-barreled for 6mm AR / 6mm G / ...
c. My stock is a Boyd's Cuda custom inlet by my GS (originally with the stock trigger). I did NOT have to modify that stock for the 609 to fit.
d. As you can see, the DIP bottom metal trigger opening is not long enough to accommodate the Timney 609 blade (see pics)
e. I opened up that area with a file - now it fits (see pic) Approx 3/32"
f. Reporting my work to DIP as per their request
g. The screw that came with 609 (4x0.7x18 mm) fits short action just fine, but too long for the Mini (see pic). Had to file down to 16.8 mm.
5. Love the feel and the adjustability of the Timney 609.
