Just bought a Grendel, so I thought Id learn more about care and feeding. Im a hunter (deer, pigs, coyotes) and paper puncher. A couple of weeks ago, my grandson shot a big hog with the 223 AR and said we needed something with a bit more thump. After much research, I went with a 6.5 Grendel.
I spend a little time on a couple of other hunting/shooting forums, using the same name, which some of you are likely to recognize.
Other than that, the wife and I do some RV-ing and live on a small ranch, where we moved after many years in Houston. She gardens and I woodwork. Retired since 2009.

Ill post pics of pigs when I can, but recently the pigs have disappeared from my cameras. Now, with the new rifle, Im like a woman all dressed up with no place to go.

We lived in Houston for 35 years. Moved to the country when I retired in 2009. Much less humid up here in the woods. And so very quiet. We have plenty deer up here, and usually a bunch of hogs. Theyve left me, but the neighbor (200 yards away) has hogs all over the place. Odd.
