My new hinged floor plate bottom metal came today.
It went into my Howa Mini .223 w/ Brownells walnut stock with no issues and feeds great.
With my fat fingers, top feeding is a little difficult even with two piece bases. I expected that it would be tight given the size of the action.
If I'm shooting on my "range" I single load and if going afield I have plenty of time to top load, or I could load through the open floor plate.
I'm very pleased with the product. I was never a big fan of the 10 round magazine.
