Howa Mini MDT Stock Recommendation

I’m using a magpul STR stock on a Howa mini. Does anyone have a recommendation for a stock? I’ve looked at the magpul prs and Luth-ar. The PRS is more than I’d like to spend. The Luth AR may work. Thank you for your suggestions!

I have both mission first tactical battlelink minimalist and Magpul ctr, the first one is very light but doesn’t ride a bag or rear hand well when trying to shoot tight at distance prone etc. The ctr is worth the extra few ounces imo. I tend to build lightweight hunting setups

I understand. The CTR has a small footprint for riding on top of a bag as well it seems. As long as the front is supported well, I guess it shouldn’t be much of an issue?

I have both ctrs and Luther- ars, the ctr is my choice when I want light to carry around, but the luth is definitely a better all around stock, it is a little heavier but the rifle still balances well. Nowadays I don’t do a lot of walk and carry. Off of a bag rest at the bench the luth is definitely my choice. Several chassis, mainly mdt, just not one on a Howa atm.
for ctr the better cheek weld than regular stocks, and the latch secures it pretty well from wiggle. The luth has a small bolt that you tighten when you have your length set, so it is very firm also. There is a soft n floppy kind of buttpad you have to order it, the original and even the “softer” one are both too hard for me in my bigger calibers. I even ground down a limb saver for one pad and use that. Over all, the luth is a good way to go. Adds maybe 3/4 lb to your overall cp to the ctr.

Cool, I’ll order a Luth AR stock. It looks bag friendly. It seems like y’all have already been down the roads I’m venturing lol.
