Pendleton stock balance

Howdy all
I’m curious as to how well and where is the balance point with your Pendleton stocked Howas?

I have a 22” sporter that I’m considering restocking and using the replacement bottom metal and am curious as to how the feel of the rifle changes or improves. I’ll also see if Mr York can do a 14” LOP for me as I’m rather long armed

Mine balances on the front action screw WITH my scope and rings. YMMV depending on optics.

Here is mine. It is the Howa Mini Lightweight with the 20" barrel. Pendleton Stock with 13.5" LOP. Leupold VX2 3-9x33 CDS. Oregon Gunsmithing Bottom Metal. Random bases and rings that I had in a box. With a simple sling and 3-4 rounds it is still under 6lbs. Shoots consistently under MOA, often half of that. It really likes SST and 8208.

It balances just behind the front action screw and is very nice to carry in the hand.
