Howdy, from Round Rock, Texas. Just starting the Grendel journey. I've been pouring over the forum as I recover from carpal tunnel release. Had to improve the range of my trigger finger.

Assembled a variety of AR's in 5.56 and 6.8 SPC. Generally very happy with AR Performance barrels but, sadly Harrison has retired to Key West... Really liked his .223 Wylde 3R! But no 6.5 Grendel in his business catalog.

Next build will be based on Aero Precision enhanced upper. I really like their handguard mounting, seems very rigid. Looking for sub MOA and have access to 300 yard ranges. Have not settled on a barrel that won't break the bank or a muzzle/flash/compensator that allows a follow up shot without further damage to my good ear.

Welcome to the Horde. I was also going to suggest the Wilson Combat barrel. Might check when they will make another run, they are a Texas company that in the last year has updated a lot of their capacity with barrel manufacturing doubled in capacity.

These are strange times, our electric bill has doubled and higher is coming... Planning to have this upper done just before Christmas.
