I would surmise that making ammunition that goes in the general direction of where a firearm is pointed is a requirement for success for an ammo manufacturer.

You can look back in my past started threads, I had ordered some sst ammo for my grendel from them once and when I got them they were just lose in a brown box and every round had a large dent in the case just below the neck area.

Tryed a few of them and they shoot horrible groups plus seemed to be way over powered, primers looked like they were going to fall out after firing the round.

I had got them through ammoseek when they were a listed supplier there.

Contacted ammoseek bout the issue with pics because freedom wouldn't do anything to correct it.

Ammoseek took care of the problem for me and wasn't long after that they dropped them from the suppliers list.

So I can see and understand why they are closing the doors.

Over a two or three year period ending March 2017, I bought a bunch of reman from them, 115gr 9 and 55gr 223. It was well packaged, looked brand new, and shot fine. Always felt like I was shopping at JCPenney with their never-ending sales and discounts... Never used it for anything more than plinking ammo though.

Edit: now what am I going to do with that bag of brass I've been saving...?

Typically, these things are a result of borrowing too much money too soon in order to get rich quick.

More often than not comes back to bite ya.

Then if sales falter cuz your product is struggling or for some other unforeseen reason, you're kinda out on a limb. . . .

But that's just me on my soap box blabbing. Don't know nuthin' about the case.

Let me just say as a father and a citizen and a taxpayer: As a general principle, don't be borrowin' money you don't know how you're going to pay back. That is all. Carry on. . . .

I have made over a dozen orders from them since 2008..... not one issue or malfunction but, I have heard of some over the wonder world of internet.
Sucks cause they had some good prices.

I didn't get from the press release that they're "out of business," I read it that they're protected while they reorganize and try to get their act together, just like Remington.

So hopefully this is a wake-up call and they put their house in order and continue on.
