Larue 6.5g SUURG or ???

Lets say you had a good year and it was time to splurge a little. The Larue SUURG is pretty freaking cool at 1995.00 and comes with a lot of extras. The other option would be to buy a fancy barrel from precision firearms <12" and whatever suppressor I decide on and build it myself.
How does the SUURG can compare to the other suppressor options?? Thanks

i have one but the can is in jail. its well made but on the heavy side

it was shooting fine. i have not used it much yet. i am really looking forward to trying it with the can. i do not remember the group sizes. i need to take it out soon and put some more rounds thru it.

Most people that ordered SUURGs are still waiting on their cans to get out of jail.
A local buddy of mine got one and is still waiting on the can.

The weight has me wondering if its for me or not.(also for the money, I'd like more than "fine" accuracy) Already heavy before adding a 23oz can, I'm thinking a 5 or 7" Thunderbeast on a 12" pistol maybe more what I am looking for.

I will say that after getting several chances to stand off to the side and listen to my 12" Grendel with the TBAC Ultra 5, there is a definite pop to it. It's nothing like how it sounds on a 20" Grendel, which I've heard a lot more of the Ultra 5 on (super quiet).
That said, I still was able to lift my ear muff away to get raw ear sound, and there wasn't any ringing. Sounded like a supersonic 9mm suppressed. Ray from TBAC had recommended the Ultra 7 for noise reduction, but I wanted compact and would be happy to take the edge off, so I went Ultra 5 .30 cal. When I handled the SUURG at SHOT, it didn't feel noticeably heavy or ungainly. There's a video where they weigh the complete upper at 5.4lbs with the can on it. ok men and women, i just took the scope off my suurg and weighted it. no can, no scope and no mag. it weighs 7.0 lbs exactly
