I imagine that everyone has heard about the rally in Richmond, Virginia, that is scheduled for this coming Monday 1/20.
Here is hoping that the voice of sanity is heard, that the anti freedom politicians get a clue, and back away from their gun control designs.
Anyone who has insight, is attending, etc, post up.

Thanks....we are going to need hope. They have already put fencing up around everything. The DH governor declared emergency and banned all guns on capital grounds..just hoping no radicals show up to the peaceful protest.

Not from VA, but wish I could attend, considering the ramifications of this issue being forced upon peaceful and legal gun owners.

Well no matter what happens tomorrow this is just the beginning of more to come. The time will come for most of us to make important decisions.Hopefully we all remember where we come from and who gave us the rights we are guaranteed.

Nor is the "right" to keep and bear arms really guaranteed. It is respected and supported by some people, but disregarded and violated by others.
And Virginia is not the beginning. It is just one of the latest, following similar "infringements" on the RKBA in California, New York, and other States.

Oh yes guys, our Governor is a Conservative hater and a gun hater. Like Va, his AG is obsessed with banning guns. So there are four or five bills open for hearings now that will ban all 'Assault Rifles', most pistols, all magazines over ten rounds, ban mail order ammunition, put a gigantic tax on ammunition and components sold in the state, demand registration of any firearm left after their bans, etc.
At least there are hearings. Not that it matters that much because every single Democrat will vote in favor of these bans. Most do it because they hate conservatives and want to punish those they think voted for Trump. They are tyrants who want to crush the will of gun owners and subjugate them to the mandates of the left.
So, sit by your stove and watch. You are next.

PD, those are only the ones they are talking about in the news. HB961 is in the House and it is the "ban everything" bill similar to the one '55 mentions, and mirrors the SB16 one that got "withdrawn" -- 961 is still very much alive.

Yep, HB 961 has been sitting on the back burner, out of sight-out of mind and will probably go to committee after all the fuss have died down, everyone is watching the hand waving in the air (distraction) and not paying attention to the other hand.

Wow just 3 posts and got jumped. My RIGHTS were given to me by my creator! My ancestors have fought in every war starting with the American Revolution and some died fighting for the rights we are discussing.Try taking my Rights and you will truly come to a realization that I do have RIGHTS. As far as Virginia goes,I view this as the the 1st of a large armed public gathering so well covered by the news.With the potential for things to go real bad. Feel free to disagree it is YOUR right
