Funny how gun companys can put money into the operations too keep up with demand but ammo companys cant spend money to increase supply becaus they aren't making enough money on ammo sales.

Is it just me or are they stretching to find a headline here. To me, if you say it's the 17th consecutive month of record breaking, it would be that the last month was higher than the previous 16 months in a row. Not the case here. What they stated is sort of like an obscure baseball stat...like "that's the most hits the Cubs have achieved on a Monday...for the 17th consecutive time."

In order words, January 2020 saw more NICS checks than any January in history, February 2020 more than any February, March 2020 more than any March, and so on, all the way through May 2021.

I guess it's not nothing, I just feel they're making it a little more that what it really is.

The point of the story is more people than ever are purchasing firearms than at any time previously and it doesn't seem to be slowing down. The reason is from fear and lack of faith of government. I compare it to the canary in the mine with citizens trust and confidence in the system..
