CZ 527 18” threaded

Sighted in at 100 yards today then went straight back to 300 yards dialed it in on my scope and had a impact on a 12” metal target first shot. Riton Optics tracts true and makes these shots look easy. 600 yards here we come!! Cz 527 18” threaded shooting factory Hornady 123 FMJ. I need to get a load and have some more fun. Will get better accuracy groups here in the next week or so and post pictures.

The guy I bought it from had a gunsmith cut it down from 24” to 18” for his suppressor.

Has anyone had good luck bedding a Cz and getting rid the famous POI shift ?

Yup, it can be done but IMO you will need glass and pillars to get there. Have 2 of them that have no problem with that. 223 and 6.5 Grendel that started out as a 7.62X39 before CZ got off their butts and decided to chamber the Grendel

It has been a while several years. Accuglass gel was the bedding used. For the pillars I had to do a little grinding but do not remember the details. Gunsmith did my Grendel while he had it converting to the Grendel for me. After the way it shot I got the pillars from did the 223 from the hat he said use but do not remember what. Back pillar was the hardest to get in right.
