New member, long(ish) time reader. Finally decided it was safe to join the Horde, I'm sure the gummint is arredy watching me. I'm talking to you, guy in black suburban. I see you everyday on the way to work. Has to be gummint, who doesn't put 22" wheels on a Suburban?
Anyways, finally cracked the vault and spent some of the hard earned cash and built a 6.5 Grendel. Upper just arrived yestiday. Now if I can find some ammo. Sheesh it seems like everyone had it for sale until I ordered the upper. I've got dies, bullets powder and primers, just need the brass. Once i get some rounds thru it and see how accurate it is I finger out what scope to put on it, I'm going to borrow a 4-12 Prostaff off another rifle until then. If I can get it at 1 MOA i'll mebbe put on a decent scope.
So I've enjoyed reading yer stories and tips, thanks for all the help and I look forward to maybe contributing in the future.
I bought a borescope a coupla years ago and I'm not sure if it is the best or the worst thing I have ever bought. Barrels that look bright and shiny clean when looking from the muzzle turn out to be full of copper and carbon in the borescope. I think I was happier not knowing.
