A Fellow is sending me a used one that use std howa mags He doesn’t know who made it ?? It is stamped HMA 6061mk2
HMA = Howa Manufacturing A ? Sounds like 6061 aluminum ? But the mk2 ?

I made that, HMA is "Howa Mini Action" you guessed the 6061 part and the mk2 denotes a manufacturing process change I made to simplify production.

I see the only JEFFERSON one made now uses CZ527 mags . No floorplate for HOWA Mags anymore .

I do a 2 runs a year on the mk2 version because demand was low, the CZ conversion is more popular. As well as the blind flush bottom metal and hopefully I'll be able to re-launch the hinged floorplate as well.

I sure like the hinged floorplate version you sold to me. Very classy. makes carrying the rifle much more handy than the factory magazine option. Also it's much more durable than factory plastic. Thank you for a great product. Best wishes to you.
