ok, I get to ask the dumb questions:
1) As an SBR that's clearly in a PDW configuration, why 6.5 vs 5.56? I understand somebody would want a heavier bullet for vehicle penetration, etc., but then why not go to 300 Black? This seems like a vanity weapon. I'm NOT dissing anybody's decision here, I just don't fully grok the reasons.
2) Yes, I want one
3) I'm already an 01 FFL, these toys might be the reason to get my 07/Class 2

as he is a privet contractor now a former ranger, certainly not a vanity weapon.and this is what he will take with him to afgan as of the 1st of the year. he has as 556 and a 6.8,he decided he wanted the 6.5 for the reasons you stated .more penetration. im sure more of this will be made more clear in the write up
