One of these days i’ll build a grendel off a savage but probaly not the axis, im not a fan of how the recievers notched for the recoil lug. Yes its easier to headspace and build that way but something about the lug being in the stock and not locked to the barrel/action doesnt give me warm fuzzys. Im all for more advanced manufacturing techniques(if you can call it that) but some things i just prefer more traditional, and rock solid
