Not one to stifle anyone's creativity, but why would you want to haul a AR 10 around when a bolt gun is MUCH better suited to big game hunting. The only reason I shoot AR's is when I need to get more bullets downrange quicker, ie shooting pigs on the run, and/or calling yotes ( for doubles and triples). Any other occasions the AR platform is a liability and not an asset, IMO.
An 8lb premium bolt gun will out-shoot the 14lb AR10, will allow proper bullet seating depth, give you more velocity from the longer barrel, have a much better trigger, better ergonomics, the list is almost endless....
