ROTN, while I was taking one shot and cleaning during the recommended break-in I had this in pistol form shooting with just the bare receiver extension, had regular flash hider on it at the time and it felt really smooth. During break-in I was swapping weights around just testing the waters of the A5 system as I worked my way up from 1 tungsten to 3 and so far have settled on 2 tungsten (A5H2)at the moment. It functioned well with all the different weight combinations and never choked even when holding the pistol really loose trying to induce a function issue as I mimicked limp wrist firing. I have a couple of other Grendel's but none seem as smooth as this particular rifle, maybe it's just the current combination of parts. I have no reason not to recommend it as it likely is playing a part in how this rifle is running.
