I have always subscribed to the non-agression principle. I expect the same from family members. Having said that and understanding the seriousness of how messed up a large segment of society is today, the 2nd is more important than ever.
I am probably preaching to the choir here. I'm not built to cut and run in defending friends, family and property. Fortunately, I live over 4 hours from any major cities and most people here are like minded. I expect things to get much worse and am prepared should the worst case arise. If leaders don't get things under control, I don't know how I can depend on anyone but fellow like minded gun owners.
Good luck to you all living in metro areas or their burbs. I am willing to help others anyway I can and have no qualms about doing so.
Meantime, I am praying the insanity subsides and leaving next week for what could well be my last fishing trip for sometime.
