Ok, I will play devil’s advocate. Sell me on this 6 arc. Warning, it ain’t gonna be easy.

1. The 6.5 Grendel does everything I need it to do and then some.
2. I have never been one to fall for shiney new stuff just to have shiney new stuff.

In your case, I think the only convincing argument would be if you reload 6mm projectiles are cheaper. Other than that, quality factory ammo is the same price between the two. They'll both hit targets way out there, although the 6 ARC will be flatter with less wind drift. I forsee this cambering to become very popular though because 1, Hornady has a recent history of creating successful competition cartridges, 2, the DoD is already using it. If some special group in the DoD is using it then there will be a lot of buyers influenced by that.

EDIT: I'll also say I don't put any stock in how much kinetic energy a bullet has for hunting situations. The construction of the bullet is much more important. If an ELD-M will expand at 1600 fps, you gain an additional 100 yards of hunting range with the 6mm ARC.
