If a person uses deadly force, "then that person will need a small fortune to deal with the legalities" that will follow. Were talking a price figure that most people will never have saved, even by the end of their lives. Deadly force needs to be the absolute last option, when being confronted by any threat. That said, never leave your life in the hands of a mob or any criminal in the hopes of them showing restraint or mercy.. When a mob crosses a private property line, "making threats" then the gloves are off in my opinion. We have a castle doctrine where I live and criminal trespassing is not punished lightly...A person needs to talk to a good criminal lawyer, "to assemble a good strategic self defence plan" where one lives..
