I have a M1, a M1A, a 1903A3, a Sears J.C Higgins 30-06 (FN Mauser action), a Howa 1500 in .308Win & a Wilson Combat 7.62x40WT. Used to have a M1 Carbine, a Remington Model 600 in .308Win & a Winchester Model 100 in .308 Win. I wish I still had those 3 rifles. 
Yeah, you might say I have a thing for 30 cal rifles. 
My favorite is my M1A. The M14 was my Army service rifle & I shot Service Rifle Matches for many years with my M1A. My number two is my 1903A3. Man, that rifle can shoot! :o
