Another reason to thank President Trump

Trump was a dunce, whose defiance, undoubtedly enabled a lot of morons. However... Let's get real, son. The power to deal with the response was ALWAYS with the states. Why do we constantly scream to the federal government, to handle a thing that is immediately within our own power?

The truth is, the US isn't even in the top ten for COVID related deaths, per capita. NOT EVEN IN THE TOP TEN. Or at least, so says John Hopkins, who arguably have some of the best stats on record.

Was "The Donald's" behavior and public conduct reprehensible? Sure. But let's not confuse the issues.

Covid is not, was not, a hoax. However, since it was so highly politicized, and came to us first through the mouths of politicians, not doctors - we have to live with the fallout. Is there proof that it wouldn't have claimed the same numbers? Nope. Even in the most leftist states, where adherence to recommendations are as fanatical as the defiance in the more right leaning areas, there is not clear advantage in case count. I had residences in both Washington State and Florida. Washington - fanatical. Florida - defiant. Numbers advantage - Florida. That's a huge WTF for me.

The idea of just having a conversation to bash Trump is ludicrous to me. We all know that the vast majority of America votes on party line, and they'll craft whatever narrative they have to, to justify their personal investment. We all know that it gets even worse, when we isolate demographics. So what's the point? No minds are changed. We all know what the issues with The Donald are/were. You're just being obtuse, at this point.

I agree with your overall message that differing opinions, when discussed politely, lead to a better society. The most uplifting political conversations I’ve had have been with people I disagree with. I’ve not found echo chambers to be very uplifting when discussing politics.

I disagree with the common statement that Trump is a dunce though, and challenge anyone who believes it to print the statement out with a picture of Trump and his custom 757, Trump Towers, and even a modest assessment of all the people he has employed and given opportunities to that didn’t exist prior, then print your own accomplishments out and place them side-by-side on your bathroom mirror.

Who is the only President who brought in multiple groups of black community leaders and actually listened to their suggestions for helping pull people out of poverty, recidivist criminal behavior, and improved opportunities for education...then really worked hard to make those suggestions become a reality instead of campaign rhetoric? Who is the only President who attacked consumer drug pricing right out of the gate in 2017 with a continually-aggressive push for generic drug authorizations by his HHS Secretary (a Lebanese-descent American, BTW)? Under Trump’s leadership, HHS has authorized an average of 1000 generic drugs per year, despite the pharmaceutical industry doing everything in its power to resist and push 24/7/365 media narrative "Orange man bad" on their presstitute brothel networks, including Fox. Guess who the biggest sponsors are of all the mainstream presstitute networks? Just watch the advertisements if you want to accept who butters the bread.

You think the corporate marketing directors, boards, and CEOs of Pfizer and Novartis were going to be ok with Fox News letting Trump attack their margins with no consequences? That’s why Chris Wallace’s first question in the 1st debates was to attack Trump and portraying him as a white supremacist, asking if he would clarify his remarks on Charlottesville.



Those of us who have studied disinformation and IO for decades recognized that Fox News was controlled opposition the whole time, with combined interests between the internationalists and corporate sponsors, recognizing that people didn’t like watching ABC, CBS, CNN, etc. Under ACA/Obamacare, pharmaceuticals negotiated with Obama WH in support, as long as they could continue to stick it to consumers and Medicare with their inflated drug prices. Drug prices and profits increased dramatically under ACA, and big Pharma laughed all the way to the bank.



Along comes Trump, surprised them with actually getting elected in 2016, and started hitting big pharma in their pocket like nobody would have every dared to do in any previous WH. Congressrats who benefit from insider trading with access to approved drug trials in advance, as well as massive campaign bundling by big Pharma and the other corporate cronyism practitioners (including at least 21 Republican Senators), put a target on Trump immediately.

This election season is more about this reality than many other topics, but those who control the media will never allow this conversation because it exposes Oz. He really isn’t hiding, just blowing smoke and mirrors to entertain the masses with Hollywood-looking presstitute anchors distracting everyone with BS stories, fanning the flames of hatred and division so that people won’t harmonize on issues most of us agree on, like border protection (used to be bipartisan support-no action), consumer drug pricing (populace and most practitioners agree, Congressrats blow hot air, while receiving millions in contributions from big P), National Defense, education, etc.

Can’t have any unity among the populace though, because you can’t control a populace that unifies. Instead, they must be divided and at each other’s throats while the thieves rob us with out cooperation.
