I think both your candidates are fundamentally flawed. Trump would have to be the most odious, conceited person to claim the top job. Both candidates have dodgy families. I mean, fancy sending your daughter to talk global financial policy with the likes of Christine Lagarde and Macron. Blatant nepotism is both candidates' middle names.
The first interaction Trump had with our Prime Minister he lost his cool and berated him on the phone. Meanwhile, all the career diplomats and military luminaries were quick to try and mend the fence that trump smashed. Too little too late. His insular America-first attitude is fine for Americans, until you see China taking advantage of the void. We will all reap what he sewed soon enough.
And for goodness sake he needs to respect democracy, not just when it suits him. Trump has lost the election and yet conceding defeat is like pulling teeth, it's undignified on a global scale.

Klem, there was a reason I was told and unfortunately never learned, to never talk about politics or religion. Passions can go deep, blinding people from true dialog. That said, I could never express my opinion any better than what 52 and 55 have already done. What has happened under President Trump, "was the exposure of the left leaning bias in the media and government institutions that has been accelerating to the left" since the Obama years. President Obama was the golden child of the left and was given a pass on any wrong doing or scrutiny. He was given a Nobel Peace Prize in 2009, for doing absolutely nothing. As you stated, President Trump got the Palestinians to talk to the Israeli's and that is something no Democrat has managed to do. Did you read or hear any praise from our media or democrats?? President Trump was the result of Americans being told their jobs were never coming back, out of control illegal immigration, corrupt Hillary, destruction of our history and monuments, being told we have a systemic racist system, more taxes and control is a virtue, erosion of free speech and censorship on social media, wanting more repressive gun control laws, being told America was never great, etc, etc.. It took an in your face General Patton to get the ball rolling, not a mild mannered General Bradly. The media, leftist representatives and institutions had a complete melt down with a 24-7 counter attack of lies.. The deep state went into over drive. So if freedom loving people here become a little reactive and up set when President Trump gets attacked, "don't be surprised" it is an attack on all of us who put him into office...We are tired of compromise and want to be left alone, to live the lives we choose and regain our Constitutional rights we have been losing all these years. Not the other way around.
