The Red Dawn scenario is not a real one IMO. What is more likely to happen, "is a push for more repressive gun control under the excuse of another mass shooting" that can be exploited. Perception, "not reality" works with the bread and circuses type subjects AKA (dems) and presstitutes.. The infrastructure that supports AR and other type rifles will wither and die on the vine, since the once legal product is now verboden. The shooting community and industry, "will then focus on bolt action, shot guns, revolvers, etc," that will be considered legal and common sense. If the dems get control of the senate, then this will become a reality. The gov won't go door to door to get them, but will get a few hold outs when they get caught with them during a traffic stop, self defence shootings, a friend or relative quietly informs on them, overly out spoken on social media, etc. The contraband will go under ground, where they will not be used for hunting, training or competition...There are pro gun groups that are starting to get attorneys and ways to fight these unconstitutional laws, since there are still pro gun judges still in the court system. That is, until the left stacks the courts...
