Interesting you conflate "one man" (obviously Trump), and "hero" in the same post. Be careful with your loyalty, it might not go both ways.
Talking about bank/credit companies also involved, I read sex workers are complaining the current credit squeeze on Pornhub is affecting their ability to earn an income. Companies like VISA are reacting to a NYC investigative story claiming underage uploads and rape. No doubt the owners of the site are suffering also. I've also read (on this site) posters talking about outdoor chains de-stocking semi-autos after mass murders committed by unhinged nutters. Cause-driven business strategies are not new however, but seem to be growing. In 2003 the Kimberley system of diamond certification was enacted, to satisfy customers their diamonds were not sourced by conflict and exploitation ('Blood diamonds'). No doubt that has affected certain mines in Africa. Nike came under fire years ago for underage workers in their offshore factories. Nike's right to be left alone to sell shoes is only a privilege after all.
My view, yes our rights are delicate and require defending by everyone, not just one man, and certainly not the man you are referring to. At least not take them for granted because someone, somewhere else is always going to try it on.
