None of these HB's are perfect but it puts us in a better position than we are today. I don't know if the state is liable to protect a citizen from being prosecuted by the fed's or not, I cannot see how they would be.
The important part to understand is the federal government is limited in power by the 9th and 10 amendments. This gives the states and we the people rights.
The question is, when it gets down to enforcement of federal laws, is more probable that we will interface with a state and local enforcement vs federal? Based on HB 112, HB 635, HB 919, it would prohibit state & local government entities from enforcing future Federal statutes, rules, orders, or regulations that regulate a firearm, accessory, or ammunition and that do not exist in state law. HB 112 also provides that individual officers or other personnel who violated this law could face a Class A misdemeanor. HB 635 includes all such Federal regulations, past and future.
It would require the federal government to enforce it and I image that is not out of the realm of possibility. I had an Uncle that was a Federal game warden in Louisiana so it is possible to come in contact with a federal law enforcer etc....
