I will also put in a word for Uintah. If you want quicker, get their bolt action upper. 22. I have one and its breaking in very well. Looks kinda pricey at first glance but youd probably be close to the price once done with fiddling with the savage. I say that and I like the savages... but the boys from Utah beat savage out to my checkbook this time.
