what ever happened with the whole short barrel rifle arm support thing? anyone actually know?

In layman's terms, they're in the bogged-down, repetitive, paperwork-generating part of the bureaucratic process that also makes my silencer tax stamp take forever. The ATF is literally, given the number of comments, in the midst of a legislatively mandated period that will amount to months of office work handling all the comments, followed by analysis of those comments that bring up points the bureaucracy deems need addressing, and all the while there's political jockeying going on influencing the players. At the end of that the end of that, then decisions will be made about how to progress -- enact the rule, modify the rule, enact an alternative, or drop it. But that's a ways off, likely.

All the obnoxious red tape that makes government run slow -- that's what's happening.
