Welcome. I'm a new member too as of yesterday. I take it you're from Florida. What part? Any good long distance ranges that are open to the public near Orlando?

Down I-4 to the southwest in Hillsborough County, Tampa Bay area.

There is a nice range operated by Fish & Wildlife northeast of Lakeland, Teneroc Public Shooting Range, but rifle is 100 max.

Ares Training Facility near Leesburg offers out to 850 yards for members, non-members can shoot to 400 yards.

I am lucky enough to have family land in Sumter county to shoot on, just have to watch for my brother-in-laws cattle. I don't worry about shooting any further than I need to for deer hunting, ~300 max.
