Plus 1 on what Old Bob said about scope base placement. Sometimes when you bridge the scope base over the upper and handguard, you can get mechanical shifts in zero, so if you can back that base up, it will help eliminate any potential for it to drift on you.
It might not show up at first, but as you shoot it more and temps change, the system will want to find a balance point under shock.
Thanks for the welcome, LRRPF52. I appreciate the information I have received so far on the forum. I have moved the mount back onto the receiver and removed the flip up sights. I will be putting a reflex sight on a 45° base, as soon as I save my nickels and dimes. Here is an updated picture.
