Looks like preferred barrel blanks can have one to me by July. A straight taper 1.06" threaded and lapped for $565. Some would say it's crazy but we'll see if I actually crazy enough to do it.
I may have been not fully explaining as it it a 300bo now but even after a cutback/recrown it is not accurate even at 25yrds. I have it in a LSS chassis and good tight/proven optics setup. I am also considering other calibers but need to stick to 223/300bo bolt face. It may just get shelved till I have more info. Maybe I'll sell my tricked out 700 in 223 and get a 223AI barrel. We'll just have to see what inspires me.
