Problems with Stocky's CF stock for Howa Mini

I think I’ve always had to take a drimel tool and some sandpaper to the stock in order to get the action to fit just right….

Some sandpapering is expected, but in this case it's a little more than "some". I'd have to remove almost a quarter inch of material by the safety to get it to clear the stock, and almost 2mm from the barrel channel for it to properly clear the barrel. I don't think it's reasonable to expect the end user to have to clean up a stock to that degree when the stock was inletted for that specific action and barrel. And even if there are some finish issues with third party stocks, I've never had one so poorly fitted that it rendered the gun entirely inoperable.

I'd be more understanding if it was something like a Rem 700 stock being used with a 3rd party Rem 700 pattern action. OK, maybe there are some clearance issues from mfg to mfg. But Howa is the only company making this action in this size, and they only use the one action for all submodels of this gun. There's no reason that this stock should be this substantially out of spec.
