The factory Howa stocks are bare bones options to get rifles out the door and on shelves for the average consumer.
Theyre heavy, flex a lot in the fore end, and have plastic bottom hardware that leaves something to be desired.
For a basic range or hunting rifle, theyre not terrible, not great.
For a lightweight hunter, the carbon fiber options are where I would go.
For target, a chassis, Boyds, or something like a McMillan A5 would be cool.
