X2, I have stock envy, might have been worth the extra ounce to go Pendleton, I assume that's Pendleton? If not that looks well finished, stiff, and with proper recoil pad. Pendleton guy is using an importer to get things across border whereas stocky's just sent it and same with Hokey on the bottom end kits, so I chose the easy button for stock and bottom ends, no complaints but I think I'd be ultimately happier with a Pendleton stock and I think it would be stiffer also. If carbon can be cheap then the stocky's is cheap carbon imo, and suits the howa just fine lol.
