Weight my $633 budget Howa Mini today, scale only goes to 5lbs but very accurate, had to take the action out and weight it and stock separately.
Besides mods listed in last post it has the bottom metal is the DIP. 2.5lb very fine DIY trigger as well as Outer impact rail.
Stock has taped and screw in QD mounts.
I just realized I forgot to bed the action but that will not add much weight.
I am quite content at 5lbs 5.8 ounces.
With out rail and lower weight butt plate it could get real close to 5lbs.
With Talley and the Leupold I am looking into it would be well under 6lbs.
I do not want it any lighter as both shoulders damaged on active duty, had to sell my beloved .545 Casull Rossi 6lb lever gun, 10mm Glock and do some serious work on the semi auto shotgun so I can still shoot it.

I do highly commend those that do what it takes to make their guns as light as they want them to be!!!
