Thank you for the lead on caseless ammo.
If someone can explain the interior ballistics issues of steel v. brass v. aluminum cases, I would be most edified. I assume that relatively ductile steel and aluminum alloys are selected, but am curious about the materials issues.
I never hesitated to use Blazer in my Glock, but somehow, perhaps only because of a vague concern for accelerated chamber wear and a nearly superstitious aversion, have not yet been willing to use any steel case ammo in any of my rifles.
The control grid would likely find that a compelling reason to cease use of brass-cased ammo.

But, would manufacturers find enough remaining business in the civilian market to justify continuing brass cases? How would that impact reloaders?
