Aren't longer 6.5 cartridges available? Rounds like the Creedmore and 6.5x55 Sweedish? I know nothing about these rounds BTW, but understand they fire the same projectile as the Grendel.
As LR1955 mentioned, if you want to maintain an AR 15 platform, we are at max cartridge length. Anything longer would require an AR10, and now you are running into ammo/weapon weight increase.
