Please explain to me why this matters? Especially if using factory ammo and not reloading "hotter" loads.

I had a BHW 18" with midlength gas that was quite accurate.

If it matters to you, and assuming nothing has changed at BHW, their chamber is 264 LBC and not the SAAMI Grendel chamber.
