No, I walked into the local gun store, pointed at a display model, (in 5.56), and said "I want a 264 LBC contoured just like that, with a bolt."


He said, "I'll have to to order it, will take 6-8 weeks." I said, "no problem", and he called me last month and said it was in.

The only spec I stated was to be sure it was 1:8 twist.

Now that is customer service!! You must have gotten one of the first ones made in the new shop. I have a new 264 upper coming in TODAY. I am excited about hitting the range and making more empties.
