You're too young to be getting gloomier and doomier. Maybe you'd be in a better state of mind if you spent more time shooting, and less time worrying about the end of the world?
I have no notions of escaping alive, but I do need to live as long as I can to help do whatever it takes to ensure the survival of my progeny. I would prefer they thrive, and do so in freedom.When it was just me, I didn't worry nearly so much.
