Did you size based upon a different rifle?...I always make a dummy round (no primer or powder) and chamber to check for correct sizing and bullet depth...a comparator gauge is always a nice to have

It was trimmed for my other 16" barrel. But it is well within SAMMI spec.

Before I started to reload I had made a dummy round up and spent a good hour or two trying to get the right bullet depth correct with both rounds. I used a black marker method to get my OAL.

I do have an OAL gauge that I bought but I need to buy or make a shell for it for the 6.5 been. Before I can use it.
