As I live behind enemy lines in NY, and i would like to build a featureless rifle, I'm looking for an 18" or 20" barrel that has just a target crown and no threads. Anyone have any good suggestions of a quality barrel under $300?
I bought a Shilen 20” DCM Service Rifle Profile barrel which is not threaded. I purchased mine around 2012 from Midway USA and my barrel shipped with a matched 6.5 Grendel bolt. My Shilen is more accurate than I can shoot it. My barrel is 1:9 twist but I have yet to shoot any bullets heavier than 123 grains.

I’d do the 20” in thread less construction. That Wilson Combat barrel has me a-flutter.
