Just purchased a 20” 6.5 Grendel upper from KM Tac. Beginning a load development w/ 100gr Sierra pills.
Have H322 & Benchmark. Strlne brass. #41 primers. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Great place to learn about the 6.5 Grendel as well as other cartridges and platforms used to shoot the cartridge in various configurations.
Speed is Fine, Accuracy is final....but accurate hits at extremely high speed is final much faster.
I don't think you understand, these boys killed my dog!
Taking the gun off safe increases the velocity by 100%

Lots of data in the reloading sub-forum.

With H322 under the 100gr Sierra, you can start with 26.0gr and work up to 27.9gr. Sierra has published data for that.

Hodgdon’s data went up to 29.0gr Compressed under the 100gr Nosler Ballistic Tip, which is quite a bit more than Sierra’s data for the 100gr HP.

Sierra’s data for Benchmark under a 100gr HP starts down at 25.6gr and works up to 29.5gr.

Sierra used Hornady cases and Winchester SRPs.

Hodgdon’s used Lapua cases and Federal 205M SRPs.
NRA Basic, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, RSO

Wecome to the Horde from an old new guy in Middle Georgia. Lived in Miami and worked for FP&L until the great company eviscerations in 1992-and '94. Anyway miss the state and enjoy the company here on the site. Been reading here for a long while and joined when I got around to buying an upper.
